Persistent Messages the Trend in Desktop Branding

iWare today announced the availability of a public beta version of uWare 2.0. Delivering messages while the consumer is online or offline, uWare's persistent desktop presence allows advertisers to stay in front of consumers throughout their entire computing session, company officials say.

uWare 2.0 represents the first component of the company's strategy to provide advertisers with desktop branding on a variety of platforms, including PCs, handheld computers, cell phones and other web-enabled devices.

uWare 2.0 is a PC and Internet navigation taskbar designed to give sponsors integrated campaigns, targetable via profiles that are created for each user from a brief registration questionnaire. eWare says the profiles are continuously refined, providing sponsors with improved targeting.
