Glam Unveils Applications Network

Women's ad network Glam Media is getting serious about widgets.
The company has introduced ad-supported applications for Glam.com's 700 member sites as well as those in its newer Brash network for guys. The Glam Applications Network has more than 50 charter developers including Sphere, BuzzFeed, Meebo, PollDaddy, PicApp, JS-Kit and Kwanzoo.
The platform offers widgets with IAB-standard ad units as well as sponsored or advertertorial apps that can be sold by Glam, the media publisher, the agency or the developer.--Mark Walsh
