Sprint has upgraded its picture mail service to allow users to send photos and videos directly from their phones to social media properties including MySpace, Photobucket and YouTube.

Sprint said users can now upload and publish content to social networking accounts through partner VeriSign's Xoomerang platform. The enhancements are available on more than 30 Sprint phones including the Samsung Instinct, LG Rumor and Sanyo's DLX.--Mark Walsh
