Pangea Media Expands Quibblo Functionality

  • December 9, 2008
Watertown, Mass.-based Pangea Media is updating its Quibblo Web site with new features that will enhance functionality and offer marketers new ways to engage users with innovative advertising products.

Quibblo users can propel their favorite quizzes to the Yahoo home page by using the "Buzz Up" button on Quibblo. Advertisers can see what is most popular and then use this information for their own marketing strategies. Quibblo users also can now send and receive virtual gifts including images, puzzles, accessories for avatars and ringtones by taking advantage of Pangea's partnership with Viximo. Advertisers can create custom gifts and send them to their target market.

Users also can create photo badges for quizzes, and post badges to their Quibblo profile, social networking page, or blog. Marketers can create custom badges featuring products, characters, messages, etc.--which they can then distribute, or allow to be distributed virally, as part of an advertising campaign.

Additional features include a number of back-end enhancements designed to improve performance and provide advertisers with additional reporting options. Earlier this year, Pangea released the Quibblo iPhone widget and the Quibblo MySpace application.--Tanya Irwin
