PHIL GIBBONS, Account Executive for mediapassage.com qualified for the chair as the last player on the program "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" with Regis Philbin. Getting the opportunity to take a shot at the $1 million dollar question and after pondering all four possible answers, Gibbons decided that he would hold with his winnings of $500,000.

JIM DISMUKES and ROBERT OAKES have new positions at Valley Media, Inc. Dismukes is the new VP of Marketing. Most recently, he was in charge of retail merchandising at Gateway. Oakes has been named VP of Sales & Administration. Oakes joins Valley after being an independent consultant.

BETH PELFREY is the newly appointed VP of Marketing Services for Abovo Marketing Group. Before joining Abovo, Pelfrey served as Director of Global Technology Services at Lanier Worldwide. AMY BETH DUDLEY has been promoted to Media Director at Health Communications. She will oversee all consumer and B2B media plans. Before joining HCI, Dudley was an Account Executive with Media Direct.

DEEVEE DEVARAKONDA has been named CMO for Quaero, LLC. Devarakonda previously directed global marketing activities for a large systems integrator in Silicon Valley.

DARALENE CIMINO has been named Interactive Media Buyer at Web Ad.vantage, Inc. Cimino joins the company from Sysco Food Service, where she served as Product Buyer.

RICHARD L. TAW, III, KATHI EVANS and BRIGITTE CLARK have new positions at Sandbox.com. Taw has been named Western Advertising Director. Previously, he served as Regional Sales Manager on Automotive News for Crain Communications. Evans is the new Account Executive. She was most recently working as a Media Planner on Nissan at TBWA, Chiat/Day. Clark has been named Sales Coordinator from Marketing Coordinator at Loud Records in New York.

JANA ST. JAMES has joined The Frederiksen Group as Media Buyer. Prior to The Frederiksen Group, she was Account Executive/Media Buyer for Broadcast Response, Inc.
