'Meet the Press' Keeps Its Top Status

NBC's "Meet the Press," moderated by David Gregory, still beats its rivals on Sunday morning. The show has been the No. 1 Sunday public affairs program for 378 of the past 380 weeks under long-time moderator Tim Russert, Tom Brokaw and now Gregory, reports The Hollywood Reporter. "Meet the Press" averaged 4.8 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in the 25-54 demo on Dec. 21, per Nielsen. Gregory took over as moderator after the Dec. 9 exit of Brokaw.
