24/7 Media Inc., one of the largest global Internet marketing and technology companies, announced today the creation of the world's first network of wireless content providers. The initial European network launches with 31 sites spanning nine European countries.

In the U.S., 24/7 Media has signed strategic partnerships that enable it to offer WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) content conversion to its affiliates. In addition, 24/7 Media represents SMS (Short Message Service) portal content with distribution on over 20 carriers in North America with aggregate penetration of more than 55% of the U.S. wireless market.

The creation of this network enables advertisers to execute cross-market WAP and SMS campaigns via multiple sites. Through 24/7 Media's wireless ad server, the campaigns can be delivered simultaneously to targeted users. Wireless sites in the network include Sonera Zed, Sportal, dressmart.com, WAPTOO, MatchON.com, Kauppalehti Online, Krak and Dagens Naeringsliv.
