Infinity Broadcasting Corporation Acquires SMA - Leading Italian Outdoor Advertising Company

Infinity Broadcasting Corporation today announced that its TDI Europe subsidiary has entered into an agreement to acquire SMA, one of the leading Italian outdoor media sales companies, with annual sales of around $60 million. SMA operates a network of regional billboards in 275 towns and cities, offering advertisers the best national distribution of any out of home media contractor in Italy. SMA also operates advertising sites at Rome's Fiumicino airport, bus shelters in Florence and other spectacular advertising sites around the country.
