Taylor Nelson Sofres and NetValue Announce a Partnership for Ad-Tracking On the Internet

On the wings of the Jupiter Media Metrix merger announcement, SECODIP, member of the Taylor Nelson Sofres Group, leader in multimedia ad expenditure monitoring, and NetValue, a specialist in Internet audience and behavior measurement, have decided to combine their expertise on the European market to develop an efficiency measurement product for ad-spending on the Internet.

"The marriage of ad tracking with that of audience and behavior measurement creates the solution for the advertising market to optimize their investments on the Internet," said Lennart Brag, President and CEO of NetValue.

"This agreement with TNS Secodip allows us to offer our clients a global vision of what happens on the Internet as well as to guide them throughout the development of their marketing strategy." he added.

The partnership will be based on the development of new products resulting from the fusion of AdNetTrack's (TNS Secodip's internet monitoring system) database with that of NetValue's (which measures site audience as well as the profiles and behaviors of Internet users).

More specifically, SECODIP will integrate NetValue's audience data in their AdNetTrack service in order to value the campaigns in terms of GRP (index of ad-pressure) and to caracterise them by target groups. The tracking data compiled by Secodip will allow NetValue to complete its Internet Measurement Package and to develop a product that will facilitate (a) indentification of major advertising campaigns on the web based on their reach and the frequency that the ad is viewed by Internet users; (b)comparison of the socio-demographic profiles of the Internet users who view the web site ad campaigns; and (c)understanding and impact measurement of such ad campaigns on the behavior and use of the Internet.

This partnership is primarily geared towards the European market, notably in the countries where AdNetTrack and NetValue are already developing their activities: France, Great-Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc.
