SheKnows Adds New Sales VP

SheKnows has hired Tara Schmitt as vice president of sales.
Schmitt joins SheKnows after nearly seven years at NBC Universal's iVillage.com (www.ivillage.com). In her most recent role as national sales director, Schmitt was responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with Sears, Schick, P&G, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. Previously, she was an account executive for iVillage in both New England and New York.
Schmitt will oversee a sales team of 15 sales professionals. She will be based in New York, but will also be responsible for overseeing SheKnows sales teams in Chicago and Los Angeles.--Tanya Irwin
