Cigna Taps Benjamin Karsch To Head Marketing

As senior vice president and chief marketing officer, he will be responsible for developing and driving the global healthcare company's enterprise-wide marketing strategy for helping people improve their health, well-being and sense of security. This includes the management of the Cigna brand and the positioning of the company's products and services.

Karsch has nearly 20 years of experience in developing comprehensive and diverse consumer marketing strategies. He joins Cigna from the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, where he built and ran its global marketing organization.

In prior roles, Karsch led brand management for well-known consumer products in both the U.S. and overseas markets for Procter & Gamble Kraft Foods and Johnson & Johnson, and held the position of associate principal with McKinsey & Company, where he served as a marketing consultant for Fortune 100 packaged goods clients.--Nina Lentini
