E! Sets New High

E! Online, the internet home of celebrity gossip channel E!, set a new high for single-month page-views this January. According to Media Metrix, the website had 108 million page views in January, breaking their previous high of 101 million that was set in August of 2000. Last January, E! Online users generated only 63 million page-views.
A cross-promotion between E! Entertainment Television and E! Online is what is thought to be the main cause for the increase in page views. E! Online's content distribution partnerships with America Online and MSN also contributed to the high traffic volume and record-setting page-views. - Adam Bernard
