Google has launched its fourth doodles contest to find special "dressed-up" logos that the Mountain View, Calif. company will run on its home page for holidays and other events.

Doodle 4 Google is an opportunity for one child to have their artwork displayed on Google's home page as a doodle for millions of people to see. This year's theme, "What I Wish for the World," should tap the imagination to reveal how kids view the future.

The winner will receive a college scholarship, and a technology grant for their school. Google increased the college scholarship to $15,000, and added a $10,000 prize for the school district that submits the most high-quality entries.

As a special bonus through a partnership with Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, the winning artwork, along with all 40 finalists, will have their artwork displayed at the Smithsonian museum. Only students from registered schools can enter. The deadline to register is March 17, with doodles submitted by March 31.--Laurie Sullivan
