    TiVo Inc. has launched an association with Entertainment Weekly, around the magazine's "What to Watch" TV recommendations. Starting this fall, the company will put EW's recommended shows on TiVo as automatically recorded programs. In addition, TiVo subscribers will be able to download Entertainment Weekly video content on the TiVo service.   • Toyota's Scion Launches Music Deals

    Toyota's Scion division is launching new music deals as part of its Scion A/V record-label venture. The company will release "Scion A/V Remix-Big Gipp" and "Scion A/V Remix-EPMD." Beginning Sept. 23, promotional copies of the new A/V releases will be distributed at Scion-sponsored events and available for sale online. All of the proceeds from digital sales of the "Big Gipp" and "EPMD" remix records go directly back to the artists and their labels.   • Ford To Convert Truck Plant For Small Cars

    Ford Motor says it will spend $75 million to convert a Michigan truck plant to prepare for small-vehicle production. In November, the plant--one of three Ford truck plants in North America that will be converted to making small cars--will start dismantling tooling equipment for the Expedition and Navigator SUVs, which will be moved to Ford's Kentucky truck plant to begin producing the large SUVs in the second quarter of 2009. The Michigan truck plant will then start making Ford's global compact vehicles in 2010.
