    Car owners like dealer service a little better than they did last year, per the J.D. Power and Associates Service Usage and Retention Study, released on Wednesday. The firm says the improvement is due to a continuing increase in the proportion of maintenance-related service visits versus repair-related visits. The study, now in its 12th year, measures customer satisfaction of vehicle owners who visit a dealer service department for maintenance or repair work during the fourth or fifth years of ownership, which is when the warranty expires.
