  • RAJ MADAN, an award-winning banker with 14 years of industry experience, has joined Wachovia Wealth Management as marketing director. He will be responsible for designing and implementing the marketing strategy for Wealth Management from Connecticut to Florida. Prior to joining Wachovia Wealth Management, Madan was president of the Madan Group, a consulting firm specializing in creating and delivering sales and marketing strategies for various lines of business, with a primary focus on Wealth Management.

  • Radio One announced it has promoted L. DEON LEVINSTON to general manager of WTLC-A/FM, WHHH-FM, WYJZ-FM, and WDNI-TV Indianapolis. Radio One has also hired TERRY FOXX as PD of WCDX-FM Richmond. Foxx comes to Radio One from Clear Channel's V101.1-FM Sacramento.

  • Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, continues to mine the West Coast to beef up its creative ranks. The Bcom3 Group flagship agency tapped red-hot creative directors JEFF LABBE and KASH SREE, naming them senior vice presidents and creative directors. The onetime partners at Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., in 1998 will again pair up, this time under Burnett USA Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Cheryl Berman and Leo Burnett USA Vice Chairman and Deputy Chief Creative Officer Mark Tutssel. Mr. Labbe is coming from Omnicom Group's TBWA/Chiat/Day, San Francisco, where he was creative director-art director, while Mr. Sree was a copywriter at Wieden.

  • SCOTT GRAMLING was named editor in chief of Emap Metro's U.S. edition of FHM. Mr. Gramling, 31, most recently served as deputy editor of the magazine. Mr. Gramling succeeds Ed Needham, who was named managing editor of Wenner Media's Rolling Stone last week.

  • Zenith Media USA announces the promotion of MATT FEINBERG to Senior Vice President of the agency's National Radio Group. Feinberg, 42, most recently was Vice President of National Radio. Prior to joining Zenith in 1998, Feinberg ran his own independent media consultancy, Millennium Media and Marketing.
