  • Forbes.com has promoted MARISSA O’HARE to director, audience development where she will be responsible for guiding Forbes.com development initiatives. She joined Forbes.com as manager, international audience development.


  • PRIMEDIA Consumer Guides has named DAVID CRAWFORD president and COO of the Consumer Guides Group, consisting of Apartment Guides, New Home Guides and DistribuTech. In addition, the company has promoted ARLENE MAYFIELD to president, Apartment Guides; JAMIE GALLO to president, consumer Internet; and ROBERT MCCRAY was elevated to president of Auto Guide.


  • KAREN TUBRIDY has joined Monroe Mendelsohn Research as a vice president in the company's custom research group. She joins Mendelsohn from MRI--Mediamark Research, where she was responsible for its custom research business efforts. Tubridy will lead the strategic relationship, marketing, and sales efforts for Mendelsohn's custom media research group.


  • JEFF HUFFORD has been named director of Midwest sales for Broadband Enterprises and will oversee the new Chicago office for the company. Most recently, Hufford was senior vice president and Midwest sales manager for Entertainment Studios.


  • MKTG.partners, an entertainment and sports marketing, events and promotion company, has opened a west coast office in San Francisco. PATTY HUBBARD will oversee the office. In her new role as partner, Hubbard will secure new business and service some of the agency's major clients. Most recently, Hubbard was president and general manager of On Board Entertainment.


  • Starcom USA has named groupclient leader ANDREW SWINAND an executive vice president of the agency. Swinand leads the Nintendo, U.S. Army, Disney Theme Parks, and Applebee's teams, and also guides the agency's Magazine Investment Group. Swinand joined Starcom in 2001 and helped the agency develop SMG Next, the first futures practice in the media services industry.


  • Roku has named ROD HADEN as its vice president of sales. Most recently, Haden was vice president of sales at Effective Information Systems, a business intelligence software company.


  • GRAHAM MILLS and JACK NOLAN have joined Digitas New York as senior vice president and creative director and vice president, associate director, creative, respectively.


  • MICHAEL CRAIG has been appointed Detroit account manager of Dow Jones Online. Craig will be responsible for sales in the Detroit market with emphasis on the auto category.


  • GE Commercial Finance Global Media & Communications has named JAMES L. MCGOVERN as senior vice president, origination.


  • Starmark International has named MICHAEL KESTI as vice president of healthcare markets.


  • LORREN ELKINS has been named CEO of Americantowns.com.


  • Lowe Forever in Helsinki, Finland is being re-branded as Draft Helsinki. JUKKA JÄRVINEN, the managing director of Lowe Forever, will continue in that role at Draft Helsinki.


  • ROBERT FORMENTIN has been named senior vice president of sales of AzoogleAds. Formentin joins AzoogleAds from Advertising.com where he was vice president of advertiser services responsible for national sales. In addition, ALEX BAYDIN has been named vice president and GM of verticals. Baydin was formerly vice president of business development at Quigo Technologies.


  • BILL BRUCE, an executive creative director at BBDO New York, has been promoted to a new role as creative director for the entire New York office. In this new role, Bruce will partner with David Lubars to oversee all of BBDO New York’s creative output. Bruce joined BBDO in 1986 where he worked as a copywriter on the Dodge business in Detroit.


  • iris London, a marketing and communications agency, has opened offices in New York and Singapore. Leading the New York office, as managing partners, are MATT MCROBERTS and STEFAN ZOLTOWSKI. McRoberts joins the agency from Alloy Marketing and Promotions, New York. Most recently, Zoltowski had been senior account director at Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest, London.


  • DAVID HENDRICKS has joined Loyalty Lab as vice president of sales. Hendricks is charged with developing Loyalty Lab’s sales operation, including hiring additional sales representatives and strategic planning.


  • LORI SENECAL has joined DDB as chief marketing officer, a new post. Senecal will be responsible for overall marketing of the DDB global brand. She was most recently executive vice president and general manager of TAG Worldwide and director of account management at TAG parent McCann Erickson, New York.


  • Bacon's Information has hired JIM DUNTON as vice president, business development, western region.


  • Modem Media has appointed DOMENIC COSTAGLIOLA as global head of technology. He joins Modem Media from sibling agency Digitas, where he had been senior vice president of technology at the company's headquarters in Boston.


  • CRN International has named STEPHEN C. WAKEEN as vice president, strategy and development.


  • Mansueto Ventures, LLC has hired JOHN TEBEAU as the national sales director for Inc. magazine. Tebeau has spent the last ten years as an executive at Time4 Media/Times Mirror Magazines, where he was most recently advertising director of Popular Science.


  • TACODA has hired KHAN C. SMITH as vice president, product management, a newly created position. Most recently, Smith was senior product planner for Microsoft’s Audience Segmentation Tool Suite.


  • SCOTT HAUGENES has joined Initiative as senior vice president, group director, national broadcast, to co-manage the company's network buying division. Haugenes will be responsible for a portion of Initiative's New York buying group as well as the national buying team in Los Angeles. Most recently, Haugenes has served as senior vice president, sales and marketing for the ABC Family Channel.


  • ANGELA LEANEY has been named senior vice president, brand communications, Nickelodeon Digital Television. Formerly vice president, brand communications, NOGGIN / The N, Leaney will continue to oversee the branding, promotional creative and public affairs for both NOGGIN and The N. In addition, RADHA SUBRAMANYAM has been named vice president, research and planning, Nickelodeon Digital Television. Formerly senior director, research, Nickelodeon Digital Television, Subramanyam will continue to oversee ratings, primary and online research for NOGGIN, The N, Nicktoons & Nickelodeon Games and Sports (GAS). She will now also oversee ad sales research for The N.


  • Vendare Media has named MICHAEL NEWMAN as executive vice president of sales. Newman joins the company from Interactive Search Holdings, a unit of Ask Jeeves, where he served as senior vice president, sales and marketing solutions.


  • Kelliher Samets Volk has launched a direct marketing group. Director SUESAN RANDLETT and creative director SHELLY ROBBIE will head the new group.


  • The VIA Group has promoted PAM CHAMBERLAIN from assistant account manager to account manager.


  • Modernista! has named LEE FRADETTE as a management supervisor. Fradette will work on the Napster and Rockport accounts. Prior to joining Modernista! she spent five years at Hill / Holliday working on the Dunkin' Donuts and Fleet Bank accounts.


  • LAURA RYAN has been promoted to Eastern Sales Manager for Mountain Sports Media. Ryan joined the company in 2003 as an account manager. She will be responsible for both sales and management of east coast general advertising for all Mountain Sports Media products.
