  • Springbox, Ltd. has recently hired BECKY FABRE as its public relations liaison and DIANA PRESLEY as an account supervisor.


  • Risdall McKinney Public Relations has promoted CRYSTAL SANDERS to account executive and hired ANNE CLOETER as assistant account executive.


  • Renegade Marketing Group  has added three new staffers. They are MELISSA SEYFRIED, who comes from Digitas, in the new position of online account director; account director SABRA GOFFIN, from Ogilvy & Mather; and copywriter JASON ENGLISH, from JWT.


  • Rainbow Media announced several promotions. KENT REES becomes vice president and creative director for on-air promotions, IFC; MIKE WALTON is promoted to vice president and creative director for on-air promotions, WE: Women’s Entertainment; and TARA GORDON takes on the responsibilities of senior graphic designer for Rainbow Design Services. 


  • Creative design studio Pure has hired WENDY BROVETTO as executive producer.  She comes from Saucer Attack where she held the same title. Brovetto was previously executive producer and CEO of Fish Media.


  • The Point Group recently hired two executives. JUDI MARTIN will be executive vice president-chief operating officer. She previously held senior positions at Bates Southwest, Brouillard Communications and Fogarty Klein Monroe. RICHARD DRISCOLL, the firm's new senior vice president, was formerly with Bates Southwest and Fogarty Klein Monroe.


  • Peppercom has promoted TED BIRKHAHN to the newly created role of managing director. Birkhahn will oversee the integration of Peppercom’s offices in the U.S. and Europe while continuing to focus on client services and also managing the agency’s global marketing and business development efforts.


  • Mediaedge:cia has hired BILL BRADLEY as senior partner, communications strategy director, to oversee the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company account.  Bradley joins MEC from Optimedia. He previously handled media management duties in-house with Bristol-Myers Squibb. 


  • LAURA LEVITAN has joined the Keller Fay Group as senior vice president.  Levitan’s responsibilities will include securing new business opportunities for the word of mouth market research firm. She was previously at the Zyman Group, and also founded The Levitan Group.


  • EMusic has announced several key staff additions. Its editorial team has welcomed LENNY KAYE as rock/pop columnist, and music journalist MICHAELANGELO MATOS as managing editor. To support its increased marketing efforts, eMusic has hired CATHY HALGAS NEVINS as senior director, corporate communications, and MATT GATELY as senior director, acquisition marketing.


  • Colossal Media has hired WILL HAWKINS as its senior account manager for Colossal's outdoor media sales department. Hawkins' previous positions were at Grow Marketing as project manager on the Firefly Mobile account; before that, he served as marketing manager for the Nascar brand at Fox Sports.

     


  • JILL GLASSMAN has joined WeatherBug as director of sales and marketing.  In her new role, Glassman will lead all advertising sales marketing efforts, including sales program development, trade advertising, and sales research. Previously, Glassman worked at Universal McCann Interactive where she was the associate media director on the Johnson & Johnson account.


  • Deutsch Inc. announced that five of its senior vice presidents have been promoted to

    executive vice presidents.  ROBB DEFILIPPIS becomes executive vice president, director of

    creative services, while ROBIN LANDER is promoted to executive vice president, director of

    human resources. Vonda LePage takes on the title of  executive vice president, director of

    corporate communications. The other departments with promotions are account management, where ERICA GRAU takes on the title of executive vice president, director; and media planning,

    where JULIA JONES is being promoted to executive vice president, director.

     


  • MARY BYRNE has joined  Bluestreak as senior vice president, global sales.  She comes to Bluestreak with extensive experience in online advertising and marketing sales from DoubleClick. Before that, she held senior sales positions at Genuity.


  • BlueLithium has appointed BILL LONERGAN to the newly created position of chief financial officer. He will be responsible for leading all of the company's accounting and financial activities. Mr. Lonergan's career spans nearly three decades and includes recent experience as CFO of LookSmart, an online media and technology company, and a stint at Tacit, a software company.


  • ERIC SPRINGER has joined BBDO West as senior vice president-creative director, based in Los Angeles. In this new position, to begin in May, Springer will be responsible for the creative development of agency brands. He comes from Deutsch/LA where he was senior vice president-associate creative director.
