  • HUNTER NICKELL was promoted to president of SPEED. Nickell joined SPEED in 2005 as executive vice president & general manager.


  • REX BOATRIGHT was promoted to director of creative at Valassis.


  • House Beautiful magazine named JENNIFER LEVENE BRUNO associate publisher, advertising. Bruno will oversee House Beautiful 's advertising and sales initiatives. Bruno previously served as advertising director of Rodale Inc.’s Organic Style.


  • Organic named ALI GRAYELI as group creative director for the San Francisco office. He joins the company from Agency.com, where he was executive creative director in the San Francisco office.


  • JEFF GRIFFING and ANKE CORBIN have been promoted to vice president of sales and vice president of marketing, respectively, at TransWorld media.


  • Permission Data hired MITCH TUCH as vice president of sales. He will oversee all Lead Generation and Affiliate Marketing sales. He joins the company from Upromise, where he was vice president, partner management & retail. JOSH ROMANO was promoted to west coast director of sales. In addition, RUSSELL SCHNEIDER was hired as sales executive and CHRISTINA MCCORMICK and MING-NI YEH were hired as account managers.


  • Bridges Media Group promoted SELINA HOOD to executive producer/senior vice president.


  • Minyanville named CHARLES MANGANO as the company’s chief marketing officer. Mangano was most recently the managing director and global head of marketing and communications for Deutsche Asset Management.


  • Stardust Studios hired MIKE EASTWOOD as executive producer of its New York office. ALAN BIBBY was promoted to creative director; KINDA AKASH was named senior art director; LINDSAY YACURA was named producer; BRAD TUCKER was promoted to creative director; and NEIL TSAI was elevated to design director.


  • Synovate named ROB MYERS as managing director of Synovate Canada. Myers previously served as the global head of strategy and corporate development for Aegis Group plc, Synovate’s parent company.


  • The Sportsman Channel named ALYSE RAMER as director of affiliate relations and southeast region. Prior to joining TSC, Ramer served as manager, affiliate sales at the Weather Channel.


  • Creston named STEVE BLAMER, the former CEO and president of Foote Cone & Belding Worldwide, as its chief executive officer.


  • JEFF CARROLL, formerly the vice president and general manager of Comcast Spotlight’s Salt Lake City market, was named vice president of Comcast Spotlight in Houston. INGRID NELSON joined the company as vice president and general manager of Comcast Spotlight in San Francisco.


  • Moroch Partners named APRIL MORIN as account executive where she will be responsible for managing the marketing plan for the McDonald’s San Antonio Co-op. Also, MARY COTA was named account coordinator, responsible for managing promotions, events, meetings and the Ronald McDonald program for the McDonald’s San Antonio Co-op.


  • Telmar Group named CRAIG GUGEL as president. In addition, HARRY APPEL was promoted to group vice chairman and chief globalization officer, up from U.S. president.


  • KIMBERLY KLEMAN was promoted to editor in chief of Consumer Reports magazine.


  • Enversa promoted NAOMI BRANFORD to vice president, business development. In her new role, Bradford will oversee Enversa’s sales outreach to advertisers and agencies.


  • Digitas launched Digitas Health, combining Medical Broadcasting Company with the existing healthcare practice in Digitas. CEO DAVID KRAMER will lead Digitas Health.


  • Creative director JOSEPH MAZZAFERRO was named partner at kirshenbaum bond. He oversees creative responsibilities for accounts including Panasonic, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Diageo and Novartis/CIBAVision.


  • TIMOTHY REED joined OgilvyAction New York as senior vice president of global communications.


  • G2 Direct & Digital appointed CHRIS KELLY to lead its Los Angeles operation. Kelly has been with the Grey/G2 family for five years, first joining the agency as a data analytics strategist.


  • Equator HD promoted ALI HOSSAINI to executive producer, up from director of acquisitions. Hossaini will oversee all acquisitions, co-productions and original series on the channel.


  • Modern Postcard hired JOHN MEI as chief financial officer. Mei joins Modern Postcard from Elgar Electronics Corporation, where he served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer.


  • GJP Advertising elevated five employees to partners in the company. KEVIN PFUHL was named managing partner, client development; JOHN YORKE was named managing partner, business development; LISA GREENBERG was named partner, creative director; NANCY CHRISTOU was named partner, chief financial officer; and GORD CATHMOIR was named partner, creative services.


  • Aspen Marketing Services named WELLS LIFKA as national account director of Aspen’s Group Automotive sales team. Lifka will help oversee marketing solutions for Ford, Lincoln-Mercury and other automotive clients at the national and regional level.


  • ALISON BROWN was named senior program manager for Rodale Inc.'s Sports Marketing & Events. Brown joins Rodale from Active Marketing Group where she was an account manager overseeing integrated marketing programs including Snickers Marathon Energy Bar and Goody hair products.


  • JAY RAPPAPORT was named president and COO of Clearspring Technologies. Prior to joining the company, he served as president of Vonage America, where he was responsible for all business operations in the U.S.


  • Gemstar-TV Guide International named MARK BAUTZ as editor-in-chief of TV Guide Online. Bautz will oversee all editorial and broadband video content for TV Guide Online. He most recently served as editor-in-chief at People.com, where he developed and implemented the editorial strategy for the Web site and oversaw all of its daily content.


  • JOE D'ANDREA was promoted to director, sales development & marketing at Aviation Week. He was formerly senior marketing manager at the company.


  • TrinityOne Marketing hired JUSTIN FOSTER as director of athlete marketing. Foster will direct the company’s athlete and talent marketing division. Foster comes to TrinityOne from K Sports & Entertainment.


  • MARYBETH KITLEY joined the Chicago advertising office of USA WEEKEND magazine as an account executive. Previously, Kitley worked at Hearst Communications as account manager for CosmoGIRL! magazine.


  • Real Magnet hired JASON GINDELE as vice president, marketing and business development. Gindele previously worked at SmartBrief.


  • Isobar named JENNIFER BERRY as vice president, client development. Berry will work on the Coca-Cola and Procter & Gamble accounts. Prior to joining Isobar, Berry was a consultant with The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta.


  • MICHELE SAFAR was promoted to media supervisor at Fulgent Media Group. She was previously a media planner for the agency.
