  • Eric Pierre
    TBWA\G1
    TBWA\G1 hired Eric Pierre as executive European creative director. He will oversee all creative for the Nissan Europe account in more than 25 European countries. He also assumes the role of executive European creative director of Nissan United, the Omnicom agency unit dedicated to the Nissan account. Pierre began his advertising career at Ogilvy & Mather Paris as copywriter. He then joined Saatchi & Saatchi Paris, where he worked very closely with the London Office for international accounts like Sony, Toyota and Monster.com. In 2000, he joined Euro RSCG Morocco as senior copywriter for Citroen. In 2002, for Leo Burnett Paris, he was in charge of developing creative campaigns for accounts such as P&G, Kellogg's, Barclays Bank, Krisprolls and Fiat. In 2008, he moved to CLM BBDO as creative director. A few years later, he was promoted to head of a team dedicated to Merdeces-Benz and Smart.     Barkley named Mike Goff as executive vice president, account leadership. Goff was most recently president of Premier Sports Management, where he led the company's day-to-day operations and business development activities. Prior to that, Goff was vice president of corporate marketing at Sprint, where he led branding and launch efforts for the merged Sprint and Nextel brands in 2005. He also led the marketing communications for the launch of the Sprint iPhone. "We are thrilled to have Mike join our team," said Jeff King, CEO, Barkley. "He is one of the smartest marketing people I've met, and he is a great fit for our culture. We are lucky to have him at Barkley."

    Gage, a Minneapolis-based marketing agency, hired Dan Hellerich as tech lead and Lauren Johnson as engagement manager. Hellerich and Johnson will both join the Microsoft ExpertZone team. The agency also promoted Sam Zastrow to senior project manager, Lois Eickhoff to accountant, and Russell Colliton and Karl Henkelmann to tech leads. Prior to Gage, Hellerich was a development team director at the Integer Group in Des Moines, Iowa. Previously, Johnson served as a digital marketing coordinator at FindLaw, a division of Thomson Reuters. "Our hiring of Dan and Lauren reflects our deepening bench of talent and our commitment to do great work that thrills clients," said Tom Belle, president and CEO of Gage. "And Sam, Lois, Russell and Karl have contributed significantly to work that elevates our clients and Gage."

    360i hired Lucia Grillo as head of production, effective January 4. Grillo replaces Joe Jaffe, who is departing 360i later this month. She will oversee 360i's integrated production team and will build out the agency's production capabilities. Grillo will report to Jonathan Goldmacher, managing director, New York. She spent the past 10 years at Psyop, where she most recently headed up the New York office as managing director. Grillo got her start as a production manager for the opening and closing ceremonies for the Olympics in Atlanta, and she has held agency positions at JWT and McCann New York. She has also served on the AICP Digital Board for several years, most recently as vice president.
  • Craig Elimeliah

    VML hired Craig Elimeliah as director of creative technology, a new position at the agency. He joins VML from RAPP, where he led digital innovation efforts. Elimeliah will oversee creative technology and will work across VML's creative, strategy, and platforms and experiences teams. He will work across VML clients in New York such as Dell, LEGOLAND Florida Resort, Motorola, S&P and Xerox. Elimeliah will report to Jeff Geheb, chief technology officer at VML. "Increasingly, our clients are asking us not to solve marketing problems, they are asking us to understand how technology can transform their business," said Geheb. "And with Craig's leadership and new role, we'll have a new type of technology leader that can push our creative thinking forward through an understanding of technology." Added Elimeliah: "Our goal with the creative technology team will be not to disrupt, but to build the team organically so that we're able to bring these two worlds together for true integrations within the agency and for our clients' businesses."

    O'Keefe Reinhard & Paul tapped Rahul Roy as head of client business. Roy will oversee the agency's client roster that includes Big Lots, Ace Hardware, Turtle Wax and YUM! Brands. Roy began his advertising career at McCann Erikson in India. Most recently, he spent 10 years at FCB and most recently served as executive vice president/director of account management at FCB/Chicago and managing director of FCB/LA where he oversaw Kmart, YUM! and Dockers. While there, he worked closely with OKRP founders Tom O'Keefe, Matt Reinhard and Nick Paul. "Rahul's one of a special breed -- a classically trained account guy with a true creative soul," said O'Keefe." As Matt, Nick and I look to take the agency to the next level, there's nobody we could bring in to help us fortify our client services, work and culture more than Mr. Roy."

    McCann HumanCare, the consumer health and wellness unit of McCann Health and McCann Worldgroup, named Frank Mazzola as executive vice president, group creative director. He will report to Auge Reichenberg, executive vice president, executive creative director, McCann HumanCare. Mazzola joins McCann HumanCare from GSW where he served as executive vice president, group creative director. He began his career at FCB (now FCB Health), rising through the ranks from junior copywriter to creative director in 6 years. "Frank is a proven leader and an incredibly talented healthcare creative guru, with many awards and new business wins under his belt," said Reichenberg. "No matter what he works on, Frank brings a wealth of unique perspectives, creativity, and experience to the table and I’m delighted to have him on our team."

    360i named Geline Midouin as chief talent officer. Midouin will oversee recruitment, professional development and human resources across all agency offices. She will report to Jared Belsky, president of 360i. Midouin joins 360i from Publicis Healthcare Communications Group (PHCG), where she served as senior vice president of global human resources and resource management, supporting PHCG global brands including Saatchi Wellness, Discovery USA, Razorfish Health, in-sync, Maxcess and Verilogue. While there, Midouin developed HR strategies to support business objectives and led major restructures, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across client groups. Prior to that, Midouin served as vice president of human resources for WNBC-TV, NBC Universal's owned and operated station in New York, supporting the launch of a digital channel and managing five unions. "Geline is a visionary and strategic HR practitioner with a proven track record of talent attraction and retention, organizational development and performance management across high profile organizations," said Belsky.
