  • MTV Expands Digital Offerings For VMAsBroadcasting & Cable

    MTV has retooled its digital offerings supporting its Video Music Awards, set for Sept. 6. For one, its All Access Live, which offers viewers "access to nine cameras feeds online," has been tweaked to be consistent across multiple computer and mobile devices, writes George Winslow. And the Facebook Timeline Tracker, newly sponsored by Cover Girl, "will be producing web vignettes in the run up to the show that will have CoverGirl integrated into the content," and "will also serve as hub for trending VMA content." ...Read the whole story

  • Adobe Advances TV Everywhere ToolsEngadget

    Coming off a successfully streamed summer Olympics, Adobe this week rolled out new features to support the “TV Everywhere” movement. “The company counted more than 88 million authenticated streams during the [Olympic] games,” writes Engadget. “Now it says it can make things better for cable companies and their customers to get viewing on mobiles with Adobe Pass 2.0, which includes technology like automatic authentication, which was tested on Comcast and Cablevision customers during he Olympics.”  ...Read the whole story
