Nintendo of America will launch the third iteration of its successful DS handheld video game system April 5.

The Nintendo DSi--as it is to be called--will include two cameras, one on its external body and one pointed at the game user when the device is flipped open. The cameras will allow users to take and share photos as well as allowing developers to incorporate methods to bring people farther into the gaming experience. The system will also feature a sound application that allows users to create and alter sound files and listen to music downloaded onto an SD card.--Aaron Baar
