Cabot Offers Kosher Cheddar

Cabot Creamery has launched a new kosher cheese variety, Cabot OU Kosher-for-Passover Sharp Cheddar.
Certified by the Orthodox Union, the cheese is available in random-weight deli bars weighing approximately 10 ounces at retail and online.
Cabot is far from alone in expanding product lines to meet the growing demand for kosher foods and beverages. Fully 27% of all new food and product launches in the U.S. last year featured the "kosher" claim, according to the Mintel Global New Products Database.
An estimated six to eight million Americans are consumers of kosher foods, including Jews, Muslims, Seventh Day Adventists and vegetarians.--Karlene Lukovitz
