Kleenex Seeks Next Frida Kahlo

  • March 5, 2009
Kleenex is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with consumer voting on three original designs informed by Hispanic culture. The effort is the next phase of the Neenah, Wis.-based company's December effort asking consumers for designs, themes and motifs, "Con Kleenex, Expresa tu Hispanidad," (With Kleenex, Express Your Hispanic Culture).

The company says 620 artists from throughout the country entered the contest, hoping to earn one of three $5,000 grand prizes and a chance to have their work on upright boxes of Kleenex facial tissue.

Consumers will pick the winning designs from 12 finalists at www.ConKleenexExpresaTuHispanidad.com. The winning designs may appear in stores nationwide in time for Hispanic Heritage Month, in September.--Karl Greenberg
