NBC's plans to launch its local broadcast Web sites this summer, including a new one in New York, per
The Huffington Post. NBC rolled out new sites for its 10-owned stations last fall. They are
now adding social media features and enhancing the community slant. The New York NBC site is up, but is still in beta. NBC added
New York magazine and other content partners to the effort. On
the HuffPo front, it's launching a New York local site, having kick-started one in Chicago.
