For a guy who says he loves data, Denuo chief Rishad Tobaccowala sure knows how to make the data mongers sit up in the seats and wonder.

First he tells the OMMA Metrics attendees that, “I’ve never seen clients make their decisions with data.”

Then he adds, “Remember I believe in numbers, but I’m just telling you the truth. Sometimes we forget that and have these arcane conversations.”

Then he goes on to say, “I can tell you anything with data,” and concludes by saying we are in an age of “data diarrhea.”

Heck, even goes on to paraphrase the “Rime of the Ancient Mariner,” altering its most famous stanza to:

Data, data, everywhere, I think I could sink; Data, Data, everywhere, Will someone please help me think.
