That’s the way Ken Sonenclar, Managing Director, Desilva+Philllips, and moderator of OMMA Publish panel “Always Room for More: Breathing New Life Into Old Categories” sized things up this afternoon.

“In general, it seems the amateurizing of journalism has turned the world upside down here,” he said, in deference to Steve Brill’s appeal earlier today to develop a model that saves professional journalism.

“The fact that amateurs are more than welcome in the publishing world these days,” Sonenclar declared.
