A movie about Ford Motor, based on the book, Ford and the American Dream by a long-time employee, may be in the offing.

California-based Majestic Wind Entertainment in conjunction with Prestige Entertainment, a Nashville-based production company, has started production of "Ford and the American Dream." The writers say Ford is not involved in the film.

The companies will tout the film at the NASCAR Nationwide racing series at Watkins Glen International Raceway in upstate New York. The Ford Fusion car owned by Baker Curb Racing will roll around the track to tout the new movie slated for premiere next spring. The book is by Clifton Lambreth, with help from Mary Calia, Melissa Webb and Patrick Doyle.--Karl Greenberg
