Jamba Juice To Develop Frozen Fruit Smoothie

Jamba Juice Co. has entered into a license agreement with the Inventure Group, Phoenix, to develop a line of blend-and-serve frozen-fruit smoothie kits for retail grocery distribution, according to Supermarketnews.com.
The product, which is expected to make its debut during the first quarter of 2010, will include whole fruit pieces and vitamin and mineral boosts, says Susan Shields, vice president for consumer products and licensing at Jamba Juice.--Nina Lentini
