MRM Names Speidel To SVP Post
Speidel sees the integration of digital and traditional creative teams as the key to MRM's success going forward. "MRM is far ahead of the curve with the talent and tech experience needed to help brands capitalize on the power of cultural trends," he said.
The agency is presently focused on adding to its roster of brands from its Diagio business.
Helping to launch Tequila in 2002, Speidel has worked closely with clients including Nissan, Pennzoil, VISA, American Express, Sprint and Pioneer.
Clearly on a talent hunt, MRM recently hired Farid Chaouki as vice president and director of innovation and experience design, and Roy Eventov as a design director.
Corey Mitchell, who joined MRM Worldwide as its New York office managing director late last year, also came from TBWACD. There, he was president of the New York agency, its Tequila unit and TBWA Health.
Before joining Tequila, Speidel spent four years as chief creative officer in the New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco offices of Direct Partners where his accounts included DirecTV, E*Trade, Disney and Kmart.
