A Nissan team led by engineer Toshiyuki Tabata consulted music composers and came up with a high-pitched sound reminiscent of the flying cars in "Blade Runner," the 1982 film directed by Ridley Scott,
Makiko Kitamura and Yuki Hagiwara report. "We wanted something a bit different, something closer to the world of art," Tabata says.
