Bob Barker celebrated his 30th anniversary as host of "The Price Is Right" by reupping with the show for five years.

The contract with CBS and Pearson Television will keep Barker, 77, in place as host and executive producer of the game show through its 34th season.

Over the past few years, Barker has renewed his contract one year at a time, so this multiyear deal clearly signals his long-term commitment to the show.

Following the taping of the season's premiere episode on Wednesday, Barker also announced that Heather Kozar and Claudia Jordan will join the show as "Barker's Beauties" for the coming season.

Barker, who has hosted "The Price Is Right" since Sept. 4, 1972, holds the record for the longest number of consecutive daily appearances for a non-news television personality.
