The new item is an on-the-go, no-mess version of a carnival treat, noted Burger King Corp. SVP, global product marketing and innovation John Schaufelberger.
The launch is being supported by a carnival-themed 15-second TV spot, to air starting Dec. 17, in which "the King" demonstrates his fortune-telling abilities. Online ads, already live, are promoting the sticks as providing a "wonderland of frosted deliciousness."--Karlene Lukovitz
