Yahoo Names Former Ernst & Young Exec To Board

Sue James, a 35-year veteran of Ernst & Young has joined Yahoo's board of directors. She has also been named as chair of the board's audit committee.

James joined E&Y in 1975 and served as a partner from 1987 until her retirement in June 2006. During her tenure with the consulting giant, she was the lead partner for the audit work for major technology companies including Intel Corporation, Sun Microsystems, Amazon.com, Autodesk and HP. She also served on the E&Y Americas executive board of directors from January 2002 through June 2006. James is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. --Mark Walsh
