LBi Names Isaac Global Head Of Planning

Digital agency LBi International on Thursday named Jonathan Isaac as its new Global Head of Planning.
In this newly created position, Isaac will be responsible for overseeing the expansion and integration of LBi's strategy and planning service offering throughout its global network.
LBi was created in 2006 through the combination of LB Icon with Swedish Web agency Framfab, and now employs over 1,500 staffers throughout the world with over 20 offices in Amsterdam, Atlanta, Berlin, London, Mumbai, New York, Paris and Stockholm.
Isaac will be based out of LBi's U.S. headquarters in New York, but is expected to spend significant time traveling throughout the network developing the discipline on a global scale.
He will report dually to Chris Clarke, global CCO and Judith Carr, co-president in the U.S.
"The creation of this role helps us to further deliver on the promise to our clients that we can provide genuine full-service offerings," said Clarke.
Most recently, Isaac served as strategy director at Anomaly in New York, working with clients like Motorola, Coca-Cola and Disney while also developing Anomaly's own brands and business concepts.
The appointment comes on the heels of LBi establishing its U.S. Headquarters through the completed merger of IconNicholson and Special Ops Media earlier this month.
The European agency agreed to pay between $20 and $45 million for Special Ops, depending on its performance over time. Founded in 2002 by Jason Klein and Christian Anthony, Special Ops served clients like Coca-Cola, MTV, and NBC Universal with a staff of 64 employees.
Before joining Anomaly, Isaac was Global Planning Director for the HP computer business at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco There, Isaac led HP's multimedia, multi-layered "The Computer Is Personal Again" campaign.
