Lang, Lord Oversee New RazorfishDigitasDenuo Group, Tobaccowala Named Chief Strategy Officer

Laura Lang has been named CEO of RazorfishDigitasDenuo Group, a new unit overseeing the operations of the digital ad agencies within parent Publicis Groupe. Lang's new title was unveiled last week during a keynote she gave at the OMMA Global conference in San Francisco.

Details of the new organization were not disclosed, and Publicis executives said they would be revealed soon, but it appears that Bob Lord, who was named Global CEO of Razorfish last year when Microsoft announced its sale to Publicis in a deal valued at $530 million in cash and stock, has the No. 2 role in the new group, which also encompasses Denuo.

Rishad Tobaccowala, who has been CEO of Denuo, has taken on a broader role as chief strategy officer of Publicis Groupe.

Just to be clear, Bob Lord has, does and will continue to run Razorfish. Any news on the Razorfish integration into VivaKi was covered (and covered well) by mediapost in December of 09. http://www.mediapost.com/publications/?fa=Articles.showArticle&art_aid=118415
