RadioShack Corp. Thursday officially named WPP's Mindshare unit as the media planning and buying agency for its nearly $200 million account. The assignment includes analogue, digital and "new
advertising" media. RadioShack said it spent $193 million on advertising during 2009, or about 4.5% of total net sales. Aegis Group's Carat was the incumbent, and Publicis' Starcom unit reported
pitched as well.
