Stonyfield Farm Expands U.S. Open Presence

  • August 27, 2010
Stonyfield Farm is expanding its sponsorship of the U.S. Open tennis tournament with the addition of the Stonyfield Café at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

The one-year sponsorship agreement with the U.S. Open will be used to promote the company's organic yogurt brands. The second-time partnership will again include a large product sampling effort and sponsorship of "U.S. Open Live," the live streaming of the U.S. Open on USOpen.org. Stonyfield will also be integrated throughout the official website of the U.S. Open.

As part of this year's partnership, Stonyfield plans a U.S. Open sampling program from multiple mobile carts offering tens of thousands of free samples of Oikos Organic Greek yogurt, YoKids Squeezers, and the new B-Well and B-Healthy organic yogurts.

The 2010 U.S. Open will be held Aug. 30 through Sept. 12. The tournament will be broadcast by CBS, ESPN2 and Tennis Channel.--Tanya Irwin
