Toys"R"Us Expands Loyalty Program For Holidays

Toys"R"Us is increasing the rewards for its loyalty club members for the holiday season.
Beginning Oct. 31 and running through Dec. 24, Rewards"R"Us members can take advantage of the Wayne, N.J.-based company's biggest reward offer ever at both Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us.
Both new and current members can earn 10% back on purchases made in its stores and online. Members can take advantage of this offer by showing their loyalty card when making qualifying purchases in stores or entering their loyalty number online at Toysrus.com.
The company will support the promotion with in-store signage as well as TV, radio, print, online ads and social media messaging.
The increase is triple the company's usual rewards, says Greg Ahearn, senior vice president, marketing and e-commerce, Toys"R"Us, Inc. The program usually offers $5 "R"Us Dollars for every $150 spent during select earning periods.
"R"Us Dollars will be sent to customers by email post-Christmas and can be used toward savings on future purchases made in-store.
Rewards"R"Us is open to anyone with no credit approval required. Members can use any payment method, including the credit card of their choice -- allowing them to earn not only "R"Us Rewards but also any of the usual rewards offered by their credit card company, such as airline miles and hotel points.
Members will be invited to attend exclusive shopping events, during which they will have special access to in-store sales. They will also also be among the first to be notified when "R"Us stores receive shipments of in-demand items. Customers who are not already enrolled can sign up for the complimentary program at any "R"Us store or online.
