Location Agencies Look For Just The Right Image

Greg Spielberg reports on location agencies, a tiny, informal industry of about 150 entities nationwide who not only find splendiferous locations that make your products look good because they look good but also help to manage the entire shoot, whether it's a magazine spread or TV commercial.

Spielberg focuses in on Image Location's Paul Kim, a 39-year-old Los Angeles-based location agent who drives a Porsche and employs 12 people, with plans to hire three more in 2011. And make no mistake that it's all about the image.

"If you don't have that nice Web site, that nice business card -- if you don't have that nice office, to me your company loses credibility," he says. "You gotta show your clients that you deserve their confidence."
