Sam's Club Funds Hispanic Scholarships

Sam's Club is offering sophomores and juniors enrolled full-time at a Hispanic Serving Institution the chance to win $100,000 to pay for their education.

To enter, each team of up to three students will develop a marketing plan where the theme is "Increasing Sam's Club's Market Penetration of the Latino Population." The program is in partnership with the business publication DiversityInc.

A panel of judges will review all submitted plans and the top five will receive $20,000 each:  $15,000 for the student(s) and $5,000 for the college or university. The program will run until May 14  The winners will be announced live during DiversityInc's Gala Awards Dinner in the nation's capital on Nov. 17.--Tanya Irwin
