Tony Cervone To Head VW Group Comms

Tony Cervone is taking off his wings and heading back to four-wheeled vehicles. Volkswagen Group of America has tapped Cervone to be EVP, Group Communications effective immediately. Cervone will report to Jonathan Browning, President and CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, and will be a member of the Executive Management Team.
Cervone, who was most recently SVP, CCO at United Airlines, will oversee corporate media relations, all public relations campaigns, community partnerships and philanthropy. Cervone has also held communications positions at Chrysler for 14 years and General Motors for 10 years. At GM he was VP of global communications
