Walmart Pledges $5 Million To Meals On Wheels

In an effort to fight hunger among senior citizens, the Walmart Foundation says it is pledging a $5 million grant to Meals On Wheels Association of America, a donation it hopes will bring attention to the growing problem. The grant is part of the company's previously announced $2 billion commitment to support hunger relief efforts through 2015, and MOW says it will use the money for new stoves, refrigerators, trucks and other equipment. MOW provides 1 million meals a day to hungry seniors in all 50 states.
