Hillis Defeats Vick For 'Madden' Cover

Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis will grace the cover of Electronic Arts' "Madden NFL 12." In a fan selection that received nearly 13 million votes, Hillis defeated Eagles' quarterback Michael Vick by a final margin of 66% to 34%.
As a number 10 seed in the bracket-style selection process, Hillis beat higher seeded players such as Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice (No. 7 seed), Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (a number 2 seed) and Super Bowl MVP and Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers (a No. 1 seed) before facing Vick (a No. 3 seed) in the finals.
To commemorate the victory, EA Sports held an event in Times Square on Thursday featuring a photo shoot with Hillis and a preview of the game, which launches on August 30. An image from that photo shoot will appear on the cover of the game.
