Mazda Puts Davis In New Role

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has shifted Robert Davis to SVP of the company's new U.S. Operations Group. Formerly SVP of research and development, customer service operations and quality, Davis will oversee all U.S. sales operations.

The company says its U.S. vehicle logistics, fleet, remarketing, incentives and sales planning are also under the leadership role, VP and chief of staff of U.S. operations. It will be filled by Toru Nakajima, who is currently general manager of global product marketing for MNAO's parent Mazda Motor Corporation. In the new role he will report to Davis.

Davis has held many roles at Mazda North America over the years, including SVP of marketing and product development and VP product strategy and development.
