Dunnhumby Ltd., the London-based shopper loyalty company, says it has acquired BzzAgent, Inc., a social marketing agency headquartered in Boston. Dave Balter, CEO/founder of BzzAgent, will continue in
his current role, the company says, reporting to Simon Hay, CEO of dunnhumby Ltd. BzzAgent says it leverages 800,000 consumers in the word-of-mouth space. Financial terms were undisclosed.
