Nissan Grabs 'Green Lantern' Actor For Leaf

Nissan North America has signed a partnership deal tied to "Innovation for Endurance," a new integrated fitness program. Ryan Reynolds, star of the upcoming film "Green Lantern" and environmental activist will support the Nissan Leaf electric vehicle.

Reynolds, who owns a Leaf, will be in digital and print creative, and videos for the "Innovation for Endurance" Facebook community page and the Nissan brand Facebook page.

Ryan will be one of five of the innovators tied to the campaign, along with Ryan Hall, Olympian and fastest American marathoner; Tara Stiles, author of Slim Calm Sexy and founder of Strala Yoga; Levi Leipheimer, elite cyclist and three-time Tour of California champion; and Chris Carmichael, founder and CEO of Carmichael Training Systems, Inc. and coach to Lance Armstrong.

The program is part of Nissan's fifth year of partnership with Rodale, Inc.
