Long-time Madison Avenue media researcher and programming analyst Steve Sternberg has joined ION Television as senior vice president-sales research, a new position at the cable network. Sternberg, who
says he plans to continue blogging about TV programming trends, had been consulting ION. Before that, he was an analyst and researcher at Interpublic's Magna Global unit.
