Take Two: Bruno Now Marketing Prez For Weinstein Co.

Stephen Bruno, former senior marketing executive of The Weinstein Company, has returned as president of marketing for the film company.
Bruno had been at HBO for just under a year when the film company's film slate had been cut back. Now, with a fuller roster of movies, Bruno has returned to head up marketing efforts. He will report to Harvey Weinstein, co-chairman of The Weinstein Company and chief operating officer David Glasser.
The company says the film company's marketing team under Bruno will remain. This includes recently promoted Francois Martin, executive vice president of marketing operations and TV sales; Jeff Elefterion, executive vice president of creative advertising; and Bladimiar Norman, vice president of marketing, who heads up digital initiatives.
Bruno had been director of consumer marketing at HBO. He worked on series and sports programming, and on shows including "Curb Your Enthusiasm" "Eastbound and Down" and "Game of Thrones."
While at Weinstein, Bruno had been vice president of marketing, working on a number of big titles: "Inglourious Basterds," "A Single Man," "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and "The Reader."
Weinstein's media agency is Santa Monica-based Palisades Media Group. It is estimated that the film company spends $100 million plus in media.
