Booger Flavored Cookies

Yuck, but that was the metaphor 360i’s David Berkowitz struck while grilling Crowd Factory CEO Sanjay Dholakia during a mock “RFP” session of social media vendors at OMMA Social.

Just like “Harry Potter’s jelly beans,” Berkowitz asked Dholakia how he makes sure there are “no boogers in there.”

Specifically, he asked, how he makes sure there are no “booger flavored cookies.”

Not sure what's being described here. Sounds intriguing however. Did he mean "no boogers" in the offerings of the social media vendors when they respond to an RFP (or simply offer their services)? Tnx.

LOL...we were discussing a hypothetical social application whereby consumers voted to determine the next new cookie flavor to be introduced. He wanted to make sure consumers couldn't drive a winner that tasted like 'boogers' :-) I assured him that by either having the company pre-populate the flavors for voting or by using pre-moderation capabilities in the system (if opening it up to nominations), the company protect against such craziness. Very fun discussion about the power of social to amplify existing marketing spend!
